My passion is helping individuals and families have a healthier and happier life. I have been a qualified functional nutritionist since 2018. My background has always been in health and fitness.

I originally started my career as a P.E teacher, then immigrated to New Zealand from the Netherlands and undertook a personal training qualification. I am a mother who is passionate about giving my family a healthy lifestyle. I want to help you do the same.

Combining my love of real food, nutritional advice and the fitness expertise I can offer a balanced lifestyle to help you get the most out of your life. Gut health means better health and food is medicine.

What is functional nutrition?

Functional Nutrition addresses the imbalances in your body and restores the function through food, lifestyle and supplement interventions. It is considering every aspect of your health. It is listening to your body’s symptoms! We see them as clues for finding out what is really going on in your body. This could be related to what you are eating, illnesses, medications, lifestyle, toxin exposure or other factors.

With Functional Nutrition we want to get to the root cause of what is going on in your body. It is not a one size fits all approach. It is a customised, holistic approach that takes your unique make up into account to find out the best way for your body to heal and stay as healthy as possible.

As Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioners we are not in a place to diagnose, prescribe or treat clients. Instead, we look at health problems holistically, educate, and offer advice on the best foods for their bodies and suggest specific supplements for nutritional deficiencies and optimal Health.

Our process

1:1 consulTation

1 hour consultation where we do a comprehensive evaluation about lifestyle, food diary, medical history and anything that is relevant to set up a plan together to make improvements immediately.

Functional Evaluation

1 hour consultation where I use different techniques like LNT (Lingual Neural Testing) and Muscle testing where we can test different nutrients against the body. This way we can see if there are any deficiencies or where in the body the biggest needs is.

Follow up

Depending on your health concerns and what your goals are I offer follow up consultations for 30 or 60 minutes.
